Continuing Education (CE) Program

CE Program Overview

The International Neuropsychological Society (INS) continuing education (CE) sessions are designed to provide a practical review of current research as well as information on clinical and technological advances in specific areas of content relevant to neuropsychology and the cognitive neurosciences.
All INS continuing education sessions are geared for advanced level instructional activity. Up to 25 credit hours are available for this live, in-person program.
The International Neuropsychological Society is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The International Neuropsychological Society maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The International Neuropsychological Society is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists (#PSY-0154).
Instructional Personnel Disclosures

INS requires program planners and instructional personnel to disclose information regarding any relevant financial and non-financial relationships related to course content prior to and during course planning.

The CE options listed on this page are not included in your general registration fee. CE options must be purchased separately. Click below to create or edit your registration.

Types of CE Available

Plenaries & Invited SymposiaCE Workshops
  • Every registered attendee is welcome to attend! You do not need to purchase the CE add-on to attend.
  • CE is optional, and requires a separate registration fee.
  • You may add the CE option anytime after the session is over, but only if we have your attendance on file (be sure to fill out an attendance slip if you might want to purchase the credit in the future).
  • 1 CE credit is available for each plenary
  • 1.5 CE credits are available for each invited symposium
  • Pre-registration is required.
  • Closed sessions: Only pre-registered participants may attend.
  • 3 CE credits are available for Wednesday workshops, and 1.5 CE credits are available for breakfast workshops.
  • For all sessions: In order to receive credit, you must 1) add the CE course to your registration and pay the fee, 2) attend the entire session and submit your attendance slip to the volunteer proctor, and 3) complete an online CE evaluation after the course is over.
  • You must attend the ENTIRE session to receive CE credit. Partial credit will not be awarded.
Plenary Sessions

All registered attendees are invited to attend plenary sessions.  You do not need to purchase the CE add-on to attend.

Each plenary is available for 1 CE Credit. Plenary CE credit is entirely optional. To receive CE credit for a plenary, you must do ALL of the following:

  1. Add the plenary to your registration (and pay the CE course fee),
  2. Submit your attendance slip after attending the entire session (no credit will be awarded for partial attendance), and
  3. Complete a CE evaluation online after the session is over.

You may not add the CE option for a plenary after the session is over unless we have your attendance on file.

All CE Workshops are closed sessions. You may only attend if you are pre-registered for the workshop.

Wednesday workshops are available for 3 CE Credits. Breakfast workshops are available for 1.5 CE Credits.

To receive CE credit for a CE workshop, you must do ALL of the following:

  1. Add the workshop to your registration in advance of the course (and pay the CE course fee),
  2. Submit your attendance slip after attending the entire session (no credit will be awarded for partial attendance), and
  3. Complete a CE evaluation online after the session is over.

Wednesday workshops begin promptly at 9:00am (workshops 1-3) and 1:00pm (workshops 4-6), and include a coffee break with light refreshments. The coffee break is only for registered workshop attendees. You must attend the entire session to receive credit (no credit awarded for partial attendance).
