Call for International Neuropsychological Society – Science Committee Members

Dear INS Members,

We are currently seeking new members to join the Science Committee (SC) of INS. INS members at all career levels and training may apply to serve a three-year term, which may be extended for an optional second term. The SC currently includes 9 members from various countries of origin, and we encourage INS Members from all around the globe to apply. Our current membership includes individuals from the US, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Czech Republic, South Korea, Sweden, and Brazil. Time commitment is approximately 2 hrs per month, which include a monthly online meeting.

The INS SC was founded in 2015 and oversees multiple areas, including the Awards Committee and the INS Travel Grants. The Travel Grants are awarded twice per year and finance awardees’ conference travel and experience.

The SC works to prioritize and advance knowledge regarding appropriateness, validity, and generalizability of neuropsychology methods across international settings, especially in developing countries. Our current and future goals include expanding global engagement, encouraging international networking, and increasing research collaborations.
