Clinical Neuropsychologist
The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is recruiting an Adult Neuropsychologist. This clinical position will include joining multidisciplinary teams to provide neuropsychological services for adult patients with a broad range of neurologic conditions such as memory disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and others. Experience providing pre-surgical evaluations with patients with movement disorders is expected. The clinical practice model is based on neuropsychologist interview and interpretation, supported by psychometrist-administered testing. Teaching and supervision expectations within our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical neuropsychology internship and our APPCN postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Research involvement is expected. Opportunities for imaging research may exist; our Center for Advanced Imaging includes a Siemens 3.0 Tesla magnet.
Qualifications: Completion of APA/CPA accredited clinical psychology graduate program. APA/CPA accredited internship with a neuropsychology focus. Two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Eligibility to sit for ABPP in clinical neuropsychology. Immediate eligibility for licensure in West Virginia is required.
