Job Title: Pediatric Psychologist with experience in neuropsychological testing
Reports to: Medical Director and supervising Behavioral Health provider
General Description: We are a medium-sized primary care pediatric practice in North Andover looking to
expand our integrated behavioral health offerings. We seek a candidate interested in performing
neuropsychological testing for children ages 2-22 at a competitive salary in a highly collaborative
interdisciplinary setting.
The candidate should be passionate about providing patient-centered care and should be willing to make
quality improvements to best serve our pediatric patients.
The clinician should have clinical training and experience with neuropsychological testing in an outpatient
setting and be able to appropriately diagnose and distinguish between complex presentations including
ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and the psychological impact of chronic medical
conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Neuropsychological Assessment: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children,
adolescents, and young adults to assess cognitive, academic, executive, and socio-emotional
functioning. - Consultation: Collaborate with schools, pediatricians, and medical specialists to implement
transition plans and inform educational services and accommodations (IEP/504 plans). - Feedback & Advocacy: Translate complex testing data into actionable, thoughtful
recommendations for families, caregivers, educators, and providers. - Work closely with pediatric medical providers regarding ongoing behavioral assessment.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited
program. - Licensure: Must be a Licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts.
- Specialization: Clinical training in Pediatric Neuropsychological testing (a postdoctoral fellowship
in Pediatric Neuropsychology or Pediatric Psychology is preferred). - Testing Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with gold-standard tools (e.g., WISC-V, WAIS-V,
WPPSI-IV, ADOS-2, NEPSY-II, WIAT-4, WRAML). - Minimum of 3 years clinical experience working with children and families.
- Understanding of behavioral health integration in primary care and the medical home model.
- Experience with EHR (electronic health records) and an overall comfort with computers and
health-related software.
Preferred:
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred).
- Experience with the EMR system EPIC
- Experience as case coordinator or educational advocate
