Dr. Halle Quang is the Director of the Vietnam Brain Health Institute and Chair of the Vietnam Neuropsychology Network.

Dr. Quang holds a PhD in neuropsychology from the University of New South Wales and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Sydney. Her research spans traumatic brain injury, dementia, apathy, and cross-cultural cognitive assessment.
Dr. Quang’s work centers on cross-cultural brain health, recognising that cognition, behaviour, and brain ageing are shaped not only by biology but by language, family roles, education, and cultural belief systems. Much of the global neuropsychology evidence base has been built in Western, educated, industrialised populations; her research and practice ask how those tools, norms, and frameworks must be adapted to serve Vietnamese and other underrepresented communities with validity and dignity.
She brings evidence-based brain health education to Vietnamese-speaking communities worldwide, translating cognitive neuroscience into accessible practice for families, educators, and clinicians. Her mission: a culturally grounded neuropsychology ecosystem in Vietnam, bridging international research standards with local need to support healthier brains across the lifespan.
